With everyone mostly assembled elsewhere, it should be easier for me to have a look at the spots I needed to double check from following Isaac earlier. Once my karma ritual is done, I'll make my way there, wandering a bit and going casually, so I don't look like I'm going there with a purpose. Once there, I'll look for anything that could be a potential clue, both normally and astrally. Let me know how many tests I need to make.

Once I've got the flash powder from Mekhitar, I'll return to my cabin and perform a Karma Ritual. After that, I'll head to the bar of the ship and seclude myself in a corner, watching the other passengers to see if I can pick out anything else that's unusual. I won't use Astral Sight this time though, since I've probably over-used that today, and all it did was give me a headache earlier. I can do more of that tomorrow once I'e had a good rest.

Isaac: You note that one of the players at that card table is cheating, and that the bartender is pouring from a different bottle for a few passengers of possibly negotiable virtue. In other words, noting out of the ordinary.
Alston: Astral doesn't turn up anything, other than a brief distraction with that steward with the charm or whatever it is, who walks past at an inopportune moment. The only thing you notice that seems out of the ordinary is someone playing a pennywhistle down at the stern. You hear them, but can't see them from where you are.

With nothing unusual going on, I'll head back to my cabin and take out one of the books on horrors from my pack. Not exactly fantastic reading material, but it should kill some time semi-productively before I have to go to sleep for the night. I have to prepare myself mentally for tomorrow, since I'll be trying to entertain a bunch of people, something I'm not used to at all - maybe I can use some of the flash powder to help.

My current approach just doesn't seem to be getting anywhere. Either there isn't anything to find and we're all just barking in the dark, or they simply aren't approaching things the same way I would. We do know that there is illusion magic involved, so that is very possible. The most direct approach for this is going to be to not trust my eyes, which is very difficult for me. In order to follow my Discipline, I've got to think outside my Discipline.
I'm going to take one more look around, but this time trying to distrust what my eyes are seeing. Since I'm not sure if there's anything here, I won't spend the extra effort with karma or Astral Sight right now. After that, I'll go check on where the whistle is coming from, though since we brought the musician on board, I think I've got a pretty good idea who it is.
Retries on the Perceptions (let me know if I need to add Willpower or anything)

2: 6(r)+1+4=11
