"Curious." I'll say quietly as I enter, without expanding upon it further. Really I'm wondering if it was something astral that gave me away or merely the metallic clang from my hand as I knocked on the door. Gundrun is busy, so I'd better be succinct. "Gudrun. It's about Torana. During our journey here she had been having strange dreams and difficulty meditating. We have checked her and see no signs of horror taint or invae infection, but would like a second opinion from you when you have time..." I'm waiting for a blunt and simple response, whether it is yes or no. Then I'll let her get back to work.

Gudrun glances up from her journal. "I will examine her when I have completed my current task. Would this be a third opinion, since you indicate that 'we' have examined her? Who specifically has done so?"

"I had examined her myself and found no trace of horror taint. I have little experience with invae however, so Shaliko examined her and didn't see anything wrong either. However, neither of us is a trained nethermancer, so your opinion would be valuable." I'll turn to leave. "I'll let you finish your report, one thing at a time."

"Have her wait in her room. I will be up in approximately a quarter of a candlemark." Gudrun goes back to her journal.

Mekhitar and Shaliko are no longer at the bar. You don't see them.

Figuring that Mekhitar and Shaliko must have gone to take care of purchasing our next boat ride, I'll take a quick look around for Torana. If she isn't immediately obvious then I'll head over to the bar to ask Garsevan about where she is, since he's the only one who's still here who might know. Heading over, I'll tip my hat to him.

"Garsevan. Have you seen Torana?" I'll ask.

Garsevan gestures to the stairs with his wineglass. "Upstairs with Kolbeinn. Said she was going to groom her animals."

I'll nod and head upstairs, once I make it to the landing I'll take a look around and see if she's there.

You don't see her in the hall. The doors to both her room and the ice flyers' room are closed.

Well, Garsevan did say she was upstairs. She might have gone out but since he's in the main bar area he'd probably have noticed. So I'l head over to her room door first and give it a polite knock, if there's no response I'll knock on the door of the room where the ice flyers are being kept, since she might still be tending to them.
