Since I have been on the war path on the forum and might have caused some trauma, I decided today to make a nice topic and translated some rules, made an layout and added some quick sketches to distract you from my english.

It is combat rules I will use to FS next time I gamemaster. I made these rules to In Nomine because I wanted a new system that suited the 17th century musketeer setting I had, this version is converted to FS. Once we got used to the rules it was smooth sailing and interesting combat.

Some of you might find use for them in FS or some other game. I recommend trying them out if you are looking for something new.



Edit: Baaah! It turns out that it is trickier to convert the rules then I first thought. Either way, I have changed and added some things, but more importantly; tried to make it easier to understand.

FYI, you might want to try sharing your file in different way. In order to look at your file, I'd have to subscribe to a service that I don't care about or want. I have a feeling many others will feel the same.

Just had a very quick look at this, and I think it looks promising. Do you need a reference sheet to play, or is it easy enough to remember the suit features and such. Also, are "rounds" and "turns" the same thing in your system? (If so, you might want to clean up the text a bit to avoid confusion - generally, sticking with a single term makes for a stronger description).

We needed a reference sheet near by the first time to get used to it. Round and turns is the same thing, some swenglish (a lot of that needs to be cleaned up). Either way, I haven't used the system to FS yet so the system (translation to FS rules) might have flaws. Either way, it's just a thing people may try out to see if they like the general idea, if so then they prolly need to make some serious modifications to make it fit what they need and want.

(And I symapthize with the Swenglish problem; I'm stuggling with Norwenglish myself. Pan-Scandinavia ftw! ).

Thanks, I'll remember that. Although, for the most part it is nothing a quick look in the dictionary can't fix, and if it is one tends to not become aware of it until after one has posted

I'm blind to everything I write, I don't notice errors unless I wait quite a while before reading it again. I'm a lost cause even when writing in swedish. :/
