As usual I have stacks of questions just too lazy to ask so might as well throw one out and see if anyone is still reading (now after remembering my password after at least 6 go's)
OK Nethermancer 6th circle Discipline Tale Lifesight. Whats so good about it thats its a 6th circle discipline talent?
I suspect it allows you to see people through solid objects and to cast spells at people you just need to be able to target them so does this means the nethermancer can be carried round by the party in a sealed wooden box (so he has 100% cover) use lifesight to see the enemy and then cast spells at them while still having 100% cover in the box?
(p132 targeting spells "sight is not the only way of targeting a spell, though it is the most common", "material objects between the caster and the target will not prevent a spell from reaching the target unless they block the magicians line of sight")
In a similar vein what about any caster using astral sight. That castle isn't living, Hmm astral vision to see the target in the guard rooms pattern and then fireball him and everyone else in the sealed room. Nasty but reading p132 why not?
