Page 124 Pushing Talents
The resulting damage may be healed normally, but the Blood Wound leaves a noticeable scar...
So the 12 damage can be healed but a scar from the blood wound remains. Are there any adverse physical effects for having a scar due to the blood wound?
...and may not be healed for a year and a day.
The 'blood wound' can only be healed after a year and a day.
The Wound may otherwise be healed in the same manner as other Blood Wounds (p. 123).
So the blood wound remains after all damage is healed, and can only be healed after a year and a day?

Re: My Questions
Once recorded, Wound and Damage are normally independent from each other. This applies to normal as well as blood wounds and blood damage. You heal them separately, and there's no more connections between them, where the numbers are concerned.
Healing any blood damage or blood wound requires you to wait, however. The standard time for a blood wound is a year. The typical time for blood damage is also a year, or until you take a charm off for blood charms. But there may be periods of months, weeks, etc., as per the individual rules.
The entry in pushing abilities defines that the damage can be healed right away (like normal damage), but the wound uses standard blood wound rules, so it's a year (or you can try your luck with a healing potion).
Scars don't have any physical effect, but may inform others what you did. Someone who doesn't fancy blood magic might shun you, or might read your scars to discover the type of blood magic you used or that you broke a promise.

Re: My Questions
A bit unsure of the possible damage
The resulting damage may be healed normally
Resulting damage being the 12 points?
but the Blood Wound leaves a noticeable scar and may not be healed for a year and a day.
Just the scar remains for just over a year?
The Wound may otherwise be healed in the same manner as other Blood Wounds (p. 123).
What damage does this blood wound inflict, is it a single point as per ordinary wounds?
