Only needs to be Eleventh Circle to have access to the spells he needs. Primarily: Shatter Pattern, Alter/Create Life, Dark Sword. Note that the adventure is supposed to be for Fifth to Eighth Circle adepts. Twelfth Circle is too high (For that matter so is Eleventh, but without Shatter Pattern, Alter Life/Create Life, Dark Sword, wouldn't be much of an adventure left, since most of the major antagonists and plot threads revolve around these four spells).
