I had the plot in mind (see the separate thread on the forums about that) but when I had a call a couple of hours before from the visiting player telling me their concept for Lady Althea it was a perfect fit. It was great to see Althea explaining how penitence was a great thing versus Sir Hasimir covertly acting to try to get the girl away from the church (and potentially into his coven). The write up doesn't really convey the subtle too and fro of the discussions and intensity of the roleplay.

It was a really defining session for the character of Hasimir and I think everyone around the table understand him better and were really impressed with the way the player handled it. Of course as players they all know Hasimir's secret and are doing a great job of playing without that knowledge.

Another great one. Is the Deep Core mining facility just a side trek or are you planning on tying it to the War somehow?

As ever I'm being led by the players but the war is currently a present factor in the background (it's where all the Baroness' knights have gone). Whether we end up there in the game remains to be seen.

In fact some of the players are speculating that the genelock cache could be large enough that they'd have the money to buy a small starship and head off-world...

I so envy you your regular FS campaign, Bertjammin. It is the lot of a game designer that he never has the time to actually game...

May be we can get you telepresenced in on occasion (Skype perhaps?) Angelman so you can "guest star" once in a while? I know it's not the same as running your own game but it's something.

I doubt I'd be able to find the time... My spare time is sunk into FS writing, my rock band, and writing a novel. At some point I just took on too many things! But thank's anyway

The latest session write up is up, and it may be the last one for a few weeks. Real life commitments mean that the next game session may not be until 15th October but I'll hopefully be posting other bits and pieces to the blog in the meantime.
