Horror Fingers
Horror Fingers are minor constructs that tend to swarm in areas of increased astral corruption. They aren’t too different from Gnashers, although they are more patient and less destructive. Their bodies resemble spiders, though made completely of small hairs that constantly move and cycle across their surface. Their legs do not look like spider legs, however. Instead they look like long, elegant translucent elven fingers, tipped with brightly colored nails.
They attack by using the constant motion of their hairs to abrade their prey, reducing it to bloody pulp. They don’t seem to consume their prey. Instead they just leave their victims as a lump on the floor. The hairs shed easily, and the construct can spray them at its victims. The hairs seem to work their way under armor and clothing, into the skin, causing agonizing inflammation.
