RESOLVED (2H): Strange Things Afoot at the Circle K

Rumor: Strange things are afoot at the Circle K ranch. For one, they used to supply milk and meat to nearby settlements, but in the last several weeks, that supply has dried up entirely. For another, no one from the ranch has come to market at all, save for a mother and her son who escaped and speak of a nefarious Boss Regan, who runs the ranch with an iron fist. He works the laborers near to death and refuses to pay anyone, claiming room and board is payment enough. Something must be done.
Location: Out in the plains.
Circle: 2H
Reward: Juniper is Questing for Lochost. He might not realize it, but Lochost certainly does. (Questor Devotee quest)
Benefit: Indications of something bad happening out in the lonely plains. Fixing the agrarian supply chain.
Notable NPCs: Boss Regan, nefarious Dwarf rancher
Scheduling: I am available any day/night except today, Sunday, and Monday.
This is intended to be the first of several adventures for Juniper, where he (and the Adepts that accompany him) discover the rise of a local warlord and tyrant. The Circle K ranch is one of her operations. No need to flesh out the warlord yet. But there should be some clue that leads Juniper to investigate further and, when he's ready, go on the next quest to uncover more about this growing threat. Eventually, he'll face the warlord herself and end her (local) tyranny!
