This crude warbow is made from bone and leather straps from some unfortunate beast. The bow takes some considerable effort to draw but that transfers into a powerful shot with immense stopping power.
When the bow is held it seems to always be aiming itself at anyone or anything within eyesight focusing on the heart. This effect is increased if an arrow is notched.
If the owner of the bow is sneaking with the bow out it starts to whisper to the owner to take the shot and fell the target of the hunt no matter what the owner's thoughts are on the matter.
The bow is bloodthirsty, it wants to watch an arrow plunge into a heart and watch the target of its hunt bleed out.

Without a thread tied to the item it functions as a normal Elven Warbow

His family have historically been miners, but after all the difficulties in Irondelve have since become caravan workers; guards, porters, cooks, guides, and so forth, and he has grown to love the open plains where he can see for miles around better than the cramped confines of his childhood kaer or the dense looming presence of the Servos Jungle. His training as an Archer and his equipment represent a significant sacrifice for his family, which he would like to repay and even pay it forward. It is time for him to go out and broaden his horizons even further, perhaps even to explore the whole world. Except Thera, that is. That place can go straight to the deepest part of Death's Sea).
