Summary: The party was brought together because of renewed activity at the storm node. After loosing two prospecting expeditions, it was found to be corrupted and guarded. The party investigated and found an elemental that had been summoned when the first thread was tied to Shared Aspirations. An elementalist in league with The Scourge bound this elemental and caused it to summon other elementals to be corrupted. The party freed the elemental and tracked down and took care of the elementalist Srikrona Elooh(or so they believe).

Thorkell's Journal:
I have received a missive from Master Xeado Shieldfall. He has agreed to teach me the Tartaruga Style in exchange for a favor. I am to set out for Throal immediately.
The trip to Throal was uneventful. Upon meeting with Master Shieldfall, he requested I act as a bodyguard for a spa owner who is planning a perilous trip. As it turns out, the spa owner was Azurea. She gathered together LaShana, Norg, and Reyis as well. We are to venture into the mountains around the storm node to investigate some strange occurrences involving lightning that caused the disappearance of two adventuring parties.
We journeyed into the mountains where we encountered some lightning creatures called azijin I believe. We could not seem to get a rhythm going and after some time both Azure and I were unconscious.
After we took some time to recover, Azurea recognized there was an elemental trapped in the tainted land. It was suspicious of us, but not hostile. Apparently some cultists had corrupted its siblings. It asked us to deal with the cultists.
We went on our way to stop the cultist and hopefully save the siblings. Unfortunately it was too late. They were too corrupted. We put them to rest as well as the cultist.
Azurea purified the land and released the elemental who in return granted her a favor by imbuing Azurea's amulet with lightning.
We were offered enchanting materials and True Air. I took the opportunity to load up on as much as I could.
Master Shieldfall's training was grueling, but I have finally started on my path of the Warrior. Hopefully with this skill I will be worthy of wielding my weapons.
