When Lados master of theater was in need of secret songs, the last gift of Ricca of old
And the adepts joined for it was a worthy cause
And the adepts were ready to delve in ancient hall
And the adepts were Ursal of the mighty axe
And the adepts were Azurea of the shadow blades
And the adepts were Daylor of power arcane
And the adepts were Elisen rider in the silent wind
And the adepts knew not the loss they would face

And the journey took them into the plains
In the plains they found travellers ambushed
Victims of bandits greedy for more prey

And the adepts were wounded in ambush
And the adepts fought to make the roads safe
And the adepts taught the bandits to fear
And the adepts honoured the dead
And the adepts looked for memories to bring back
And the adepts rested the night

And the journey took them to a door
A door that talked in riddles
A riddle that made no sense

And the door opened to the dark hall
The darkness hid danger
The danger was bats hungry and large
The danger was bats stronger than axes

And the adepts stood against the tide
And the axe fell
And the adepts fled like sand against the sea
And Ursal of the might axe was not with them

And the night found the adepts
With sorrow and memories of a lost friend

And the adepts returned to the hall to reclaim what they could
And the adepts were wary
And the adepts found no bats only blood
Blood still slick on the floor

And the adepts followed the blood with dread in their hearts
And the adepts found a monster wearing Ural's skin
And the adepts knew rage
And Elisen charged to preserve Ursal's legend
And the ghouls swarmed
And the adepts sent them back to death's realm

And the journey had now reached its destination
And the adepts found a casket
The casket of Ricca of old
And her gift was within but Ricca was gone
And the adepts brought back Ursal's axe so that the tale may be told

And the journey ended
And the adepts mourned

And so the legend of Ursal of the mighty axe will be told
