Robert has always been a bookish sort. One day when reading on the history of magic he started to think about the cycle. We don't know much about previous cycles but there is enough to know that they aren't perfectly regular. Robert found the need to go into other kaers and find out what happened there; to see it all for himself. To understand what really drives the cycle and how it maybe could be stopped!
