The major events of Prelude to War happened as described; the Triumph landed, Varulus was assassinated, Cara Fahd was founded, etc.

Aardelea's storyline happened as well, but is one that is not publicly known.

I was thinking this over and thinking about how much fun it would be to set it during the Thera - Barsaive conflict, not after. You draw up characters and can possibly get thrown into an ongoing war? Sounds fun to me.
