Well, it seems agreed upon then me keeping an eye out with Isaac is a good idea. I'll allow some time after he departs to finish my meal and keep everything looking as casual as possible. I can't really think of a gesture to mime 'paranoia', so I'll simply offer Mekhitar a shrug when he arrives. To Kolbeinn, I'll nod. "A good plan. No need to over exert yourself here, especially when we aren't sure what's around the corner." Keeping the spellcasters in top form is a good thing.

With his departure, I'll make my way out the same way Isaac went, figuring enough time has passed to keep it from being very suspicious. I won't bother trying to be sneaky about it while I'm in the public area, but once I can find an opportunity to do so, I'll try to move around as concealed as possible. I'll try to use my racial build to my advantage, using my small size to hide behind objects, as well as my flight to try staying up high and out of people's normal vision. I'm going to find Isaac first, and scan between where he looks and the surrounding area, again with the mindset of looking for good sniper positions.

I'll just make a note of the places I saw her - seems innocuous enough, but she's probably just trying to integrate herself into the crew. Interesting though, I have no solid evidence that she's here to spy on us beyond the fact that she's obfuscating her appearance, there could be another reason for that. Best be on guard all the same, however, as I can't confirm it either way. As for the crew man, I'll make a note of his face, it's possible he may be involved but that's merely speculation on my part.

After my tour of the ship, and nursing a terrible headache, I'll return to my cabin to lie down until the pain recedes. Some time in a darkened room should help, so I'll draw curtains over whatever windows the cabin has. Once I have recovered, this would be a good time for a meditation I feel, so I will lock the door and prop up a chair against it. Polite people should knock, and people trying to break in won't be able to enter so easily. A spirit would definitely help here - the servants of Nethermancer's are certainly useful.

If I am able to do so, I'll meditate on my 'Astral Sight', since I've probably used enough today.

Isaac: Your meditation takes you past the dinner hour and well into the night. It's close to midnight when you finish. God news, though, your headache has largely subsided and nobody has tried to disturb you during your meditation. We'll get back to you when Alston catches up.

Alston: Make a DEX-based Half-magic test for the sneakiness, and a PER-based Half-magic test for spotting sniper positions and the like.

Alston: You spend a couple of candlemarks sneaking around on the ship, flitting from cover point to cover point, and find all sorts of sniper positions for someone your size. You spot the Embroidery Woman a couple of times, but neither time is she anywhere near Isaac, or have a line of sight on him. There's a boy that keeps catching up with Isaac and following him around asking all sorts of random questions, much to Isaac's annoyance. By the time the dinner hour rolls around, you've got a much better picture of the layout of the ship, know a good number of sniping positions suitable for a windling, and have stumbled on a crew member taking a snooze behind a stack of duari. It's not the steward with the inactive magic, just a deckhand goofing off.

I have seen that kid a few times while I've been around Isaac, and like him I am starting to grow suspicious. I'm not thinking the kid himself is the primary threat though, merely a distraction. When he comes around to Isaac, I'm going to be looking at the people and positions around him. I will start at right angles from the kid's position relative to Isaac, again thinking of a sniper keeping their people out of the line of fire. I'll do this with the embroidery woman as well.

If there is nothing, by the time Isaac goes off for his meditation, I'll probably head back to my room to see if Kolbeinn is there. If he is and he is rested, I'll offer to do a bit more work with him on his Throalic.

Alston: You're reasonably certain that there's nobody watching Isaac while he interacts with the boy, other than the boy's mother, who keeps hauling him away. However, there were a couple of possible observation points you couldn't check without being obvious about it. The embroidery woman doesn't seem to ave anyone seconding for her either. You do notice Mekhitar interact with her briefly. As he goes by, he pauses, tips his hat, and says something to her, that you can't overhear. She reacts with a bit of fluster, as if he's said something inappropriate, then collects herself and hurries away. Mekhitar watches her go, puts his hat back on, and strolls off casually. Are you still going to go find Kolbeinn at this point?

Without having seen any direct leads in the moment, and the moment having passed, I don't see a reason to check the missed areas right away. Besides, any watchers still might be in the area, and I don't want to tip them off right away to what I know, or more importantly, what I don't know.

For now, once Isaac has retired to his room, I will carry on as planned, offering to work with Kolbeinn until dinner. I do plan to go back and recheck the positions in the evening, however. If I can get a quiet moment with Mekhitar at dinner, I would also like to find out what he said and saw when he was with the embroidery woman.
