[irony on] It isn't fair, ZeroJanvier is putting us to shame with his impossible questions! What about asking, "how many royal hourses are there" or "which guild has a hammer for an emblem"? Huh? [irony off] :p

Sorry, I really thought this one would be easier than the one before. I'll try to find something easier next time. :)

So, a first hint :

I just wrote a detailed reply that my evil computer decided to kill, so I'll go for a short one.

ANSWER: The quote was uttered by Duke Antonin Decados, the house's first prince. He used to be the security minister of House Glouchester. The quote was made in reference to seeing the skin of some prisoner melt off (presumably as part of some sort of body graft experiement - I didn't quite understand that sentence in Lords of the Known Worlds).


It might be that this question was easy for other people, but I am rubbish at remembering random details, so I litteraly spent an hour scouring through FS books looking for this. In hindsight, I should probably have searched LotKW first ;)

Well, it was supposed to say: Who/what is "the Shadow Sun of the Ninth World"? (not "what/what")
