[ED4] Perception Penalty differences

Darkness

But also in GMG p. 137:
"The range provided indicates the effective visibility where no darkness penalty applies. Characters can see up to twice the distance indicated on the table, but suffer the penalty for partial darkness (Player’s Guide, p. 387) unless they possess Low-Light vision or a similar ability."

So which one is it? The (+/-) 1/2 or 2/4 Penalty? Guess it should be 2/4 as Dusk/dawn has +2.

The penalty in the Player's Guide applies to all tests in the dark (such as hitting someone with a sword). The penalty in the Gamemaster's Guide is also added when making perception tests in the dark (such as determining whether you should hit a particular person with a sword).
