The way it is written I would agree with Baravakar, both can be used for Steely Stare, Fearsome Charge, Stopping Aim and others like that. Because Lion Heart replace your WIL step, and Resist Taunt uses WIL step + rank.

Same thing with Charge, Crushing Blow, Down Strike which are used in place of Strength Step in Damage Tests, and can enhance Claw Shape, Shield Bash.
Now we wait for official response.

Resist Taunt and Lion Heart do not stack because they are used for different tests.
Resist Taunt is a 'dodge' type talent that allows an adept from being affected by a power or talent in the first place.
Lion Heart helps an adept throw off the effect once it is in place, and only if the power in question allows a WIL test to shake it off.
So in the three examples from the second post:
-> An adept can use Resist Taunt against Battle Shout. Battle Shout offers no subsequent test to shake off the effect so Lion Heart cannot be used.
-> An adept cannot use Resist Taunt against Frighten*. Once affected by the talent, he can use Lion Heart to shake off the effect.
-> An adept can use Resist Taunt if targeted by Fearsome Charge. If that fails and he is affected, he can use Lion Heart to shake off the effect. These are two separate tests.
* The adept could use Steel Thought to avoid the initial effect of the Frighten talent, since it targets Mystic Defense.
