how the spell matrices will function in the new edition? in the ed4 talent matrix database it is written as "special". Are they like durability now, developing automatically?

Replaced Read/Write Magic, basically. Along with the reading of magical runes & learning spells, the new book calls out uses expanded on in the magic chapter:
"Other functions of this talent include identifying spells (Difficulty equal to the Dispel Difficulty, with a +4 bonus if it is from the adept’s discipline), designing new common magical items and thread items, and creating signature spells."
