I have a new developer's blog post up -- this one is a preview of some more art, as well as a couple of sample chapters.

Cool! Realy like it! Not done with reading through the pdfs, but I'm looking forward to it.

Had a chance to read through the pdfs, looking very good
I even like the new intro story. The Game Concepts chapter is also very tight. I almost didn't like the side-bars explaining previous editions rules, but have decided that side-discussion really works to get older GMs/Players into the enw system & helps define how 4th is different. Nice work Mataxes, can't wait to see the whole thing.

Is there a specific reason for not using full justification? I think this makes the text harder to read and the individual pages to look very restless.

And to not use beautiful font for subtitle, to not use beautiful layeout, to not use ergonomic margin to make easier the navigation in the book ?
It's very plain and seems not very usable...

The preview chapters are not final layout, but I appreciate the feedback.

Consider chapter title on margins
It helps a lot sometimes

Thanks for catching the typos.
With regard to the first question, Maura isn't casting Ignite, and the bit of flourish there doesn't represent a shift to "pseudo-Latin" or anything like that. The magic there isn't really aligned to a specific spell... it's more like a use of the Circle 5 Elementalist "Fire and Ice" ability.
