hi!
is there any ("hard") level-restriction for a journeyman for learning talents? (besides the willingness of the tutor) For instance can he learn high level talents like astral web at first circle? i remember having read something like that in a previous edition, but in ed3 i cant find anything like that.

I believe (or would at least use) the same restrictions as Versatility: you must be at least the same Circle as when the instructor learned it. So a Warrior may have Air Dance available at first Circle, but if they didn't learn it until third, you have to be at least third Circle to learn it from that Warrior. Another Warrior may be able to teach it earlier.

Hiya,
ED3 PG, Versatility talent, p.85: "An adept cannot learn a talent from a Circle greater than his highest Discipline Circle."

many thanks, but does it mean, that a journeyman's talents are considered "versatility" talents?
