Howdy
For a start project, I'd take a look at some of the 'Earthdawn Adventure Compendium' or collected Shards products.
Infected is an ace adventure and probably my favourite of the original stand-alone ones.
Serpent River is one of my top ten RPG products EVAR. Every paragraph has got a gaemable idea in it and it tells you a lot about Barsaive. It'll involve yoy doing your own work, rather than providing adventures, but if you want a good book that gives your lots of ideas and inspiration with an Earthdawn angle - I can't recommend it enough.
Personally I'd avoid the ED2 stuff to be honest and go either "classic" or try out 3rd Ed.
You may not be aware, but there's also some rather good books coming out as a Savaged (and Pathfinder too) version(s), in case that floats your boat.
There's lots of good stuff out there, grab Serpent RIver and some adventures and you'll have a blast.
Cheers
