Astral site.

Can a blind magicial use astral site to target somthing when spellcasting.
EG, A magicial is blindfolded and uses astral site to cast spells against his captor who is quietly stood close by.
I ask because Astral site is detailed as a sense of all astral imprints in an area. it says nothing about actually seeing where they are in relation to every other object or person in the area.
Could they use Astral site to see in the dark for example.
