Demon Sees Its Face

From the Cathay PG p105.
Does anyone think this spell is a bit too powerful? The gist is, you cast it on a mirror, vs the mirror's spell defense, and then it creates a doppelganger of the first person who looks at it, which immediately attacks them, complete with talents, thread items, etc. That means you could use it on a great dragon without having to overcome its spell defense, and suddenly it would be getting its ass kicked by another great dragon.
I realize that this carries the Illusion tag, so in my extreme example above, the great dragon would probably be able to disbelieve it, but still, it seems a little cracked out.
Opinions?
