Prerequisite: Wizard Adept feat, ability to cast
4th-level arcane spells
Benefit: The character adds half his character level
(round down) when determining the save DC of arcane
spells he casts. The character may also spend 1
Karma Point on any damage roll of a spell he has cast.
Any ideas on toning it down without banning it outright?

One way would be have it flat line your DC. I used this as a house rule for a game that ran about two years where I wanted saves to scale with level of caster not level of spell. It was a nice power boost for your lower level spells but not game breaking as your max saving throw did not change.

New: The save DC of your spells is equal to 10 + 1/2 of your caster level + casting stat bonus.

You could also keep it as is and limit it to just one school. Also add the prerequisites Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus.
