Once, in the ancient times of the old forums there was a really nice article covering al that *shudder* math. Does someone know where else can I find it?

I wrote a script that figured it all out. I'll see if I can dig it up and generate some graphs.

IIRC, some of the steps have wacky curves to them, but they all average pretty closely to their step number.

I got that, and I think they do (except single-die ones).

I found some pdf with that kind of statistical analysis, but it seems it was off in some places (I can't say, not my field). I remember that article was impressive enough to make me read it thoroughly, despite the math...
