multiple targets
if earth darts is cast against two targets, how many spellcasting rolls must be made? One against each? Do i have to decide if i use karma separately, so potentially spending one karma on each spellcasting, or only on one, or on none of them?

Re: multiple targets
Only one Spellcasting Test, difficulty is highest Mystic Defense of the targets, then you compare result with Mystic Defense of each target for additional damage from extra successes. Also you make only one Effect test, modified for extra successes from Spellcasting result, each taget can get slighty different damage because of MD differences.

Re: multiple targets
thanks!
1) how could i know it from the rulebook?
2) so a foe with high defense "can protect" its less protected comrade from the darts, right?

Re: multiple targets
1) Because Spellcasting uses Standrd Action you can only make one test each round (unless special rules say smth different).
As to which MD, only by comparition with other spells, if there can be more than 1 target by default like in Fireball its always highest MD, sometimes +1 for each additional target (unless special rules say smth different). Yes it should be written in general rules of spell casting.
2) Yes, if you target him.
