Minions. My Players have been battling increasingly more powerful horror constructs and Minor Horrors since 1 st circle. They think they have finally caught up with the Wormskull behind it all. Foolish Namegivers.......

You can also include consequences for combat that go beyond physical risk to the players. The Cadavermen (and women) are there not because they might hurt the PCs, but because fighting them allows the cultists to summon the Horror. One of them is a PC's sister. One of them is carrying a child in a sack on its back. One is a merchant's father and who wants to give him as decent a burial as possible. One has a key in his pocket and is walking it to a crocodile-infested swamp where it will become very difficult to retrieve.
