which rolls are separate for the spell "suffocation"? does the player have to roll separately for each affected opponent in a turn? when he uses desperate spell charm, are all his victims damage affected by the +6 bonus, or only one? for all rounds of the duration?

[Checking the 4e preview...]
Suffocation: It definitely reads like 1 Effect Test which causes that much damage for everyone affected, re-roll each round. This Effect Test also sets the difficulty to break out of the effect (Willpower roll vs current Effect Test), so determining this for each target would be a hassle.
Desperate Spell Charm: "When activated, a desperate blow charm grants a +6 bonus to a Spellcasting or spell Effect test, chosen by the character." From that language, the character gets one +6 bonus, and can choose when to use it (Spellcasting roll, first Effect Test, or any 1 later Effect Test).
Hope that helps!
