Everybody know that creating high circle opponents might be pain in the.. head. Is there any database of NPCs created for ED?

Almost. The GM Companion has spreads on Adepts starting on page 90. They list common talent choices and basic gear (meaning add your own magical gear) for 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 11th circles.

Each Discipline is given an example adept w/ race selected. Just swap one racial template for another (racial starting Attributes are in the Player's Guide). Subtract the previous race's starting Attributes from the ones listed for the Adept. Then you have an "array" of modifiers that you can apply to the new race's starting Attributes.

I like the idea of a database of Named characters, tho. I'll have to think on that.

Wow. I suppose one day I'll have to add character sheets for all the NPCs in my campaign wiki, but that could be a lifetime's work :). There's over a thousand last I checked.
