Legend point awards
Hey - I'm working with the Revised Players Guide using the All Talents to Advance option. I have the Classic Edition Gamemaster's Compendium (and the 2nd ed ED book . . . And the 1st ed ED) but no 3rd ed or obviously revised ed Gamemaster guide. Can I use the guidance in the GMC on legend points?

Re: Legend point awards
The tables from the GMC are the same as ED3 for Circle 1-10. Unless you are running a game of higher Circle than that, just use the numbers from the chart in the GMC.
ED3 increased the awards for higher circles. These are the numbers per legend award (to get the "session" award, use these numbers x4).
C11 - 15.540-46,350 (30,900)
C12 - 22,950-68,850 (45,900)
C13 - 42,500-127,500 (85,000)
C14 - 77,500-232,500 (155,000)
C15 - 120,000-360,000 (240,000)
I'll be honest, I'm not sure where the higher numbers from ED3 came from. I remember when I was working on Classic, we calculated out what the "minimum" number of LPs needed to advance each circle would be and based the table on the number of sessions needed (with "slow" and "fast" advancement as the lower/upper limits).
I think the higher numbers are probably because of the different advancement rules -- because you need to advance your talents a little bit more in ED3 (as opposed to the classic advancement scheme) you need more Legend to make up for the difference to keep a similar timeframe for advancement in terms of the number of sessions needed. (This would mean that you're better off using the EGC version of the table if you're using the optional rule, which is the original rule, for higher circle play.)

Re: Legend point awards
Okay, thanks, that's kind of what I was thinking, but I wanted to verify.
