If you use Book Memory on your Grimoire, can you use the stored memory to enable other actions that require the Grimoire?

The Book Mage ability gained at Circle 5 Wizard?
Grimoire casting?

Any other benefits?

If a high-Circle Grimoire sells for thousands of silver, then it's basically a money factory for the first few Wizards who turn themselves into printing presses. Then, a year later, copies of Astral Catastrophe are being sold in pamphlet form in all major cities for 50 silver each.

Then what is this talent actually good for?
Especially in comparison to any of the other Novice optional talents?

Saving money on library fees. Encyclopedic knowledge of any subject you can find a real good book on. Worrying less about the fragility of that one amazingly awesome ancient tome you found in a kaer. Permanently memorizing any book someone is foolish enough to leave you alone with for ten minutes.

The ability to carry a personal library of a half a dozen books of your choice that can't be damaged by rain or mud or fire is pretty useful when no one has a Kindle. Got an atlas? Got a Dwarf-to-Theran dictionary? Got a copy of The Complete Compendium of Laws of the Kingdom of Throal that you can now cite off the top of your head?
