Apologies, I'm on something of a self-imposed exile to get more writing done.
Acrobatic Defense is essentially the same as 3E adjusted for success levels: 1 Strain, Simple: test against highest Physical Defense of adjacent opponents. +2 Physical Defense against those opponents per success until the end of the round.
Maneuver: 1 Strain, Simple: test against opponent's Physical Defense. +2 to your next close combat Attack test and Physical Defense against the target per success until the end of the round.
Hopefully this clears everything up.

They may seem pretty similar (and on first blush that's not a surprising conclusion). The main differences are:
Acrobatic Defense - purely defensive, protects against all opponents.
Maneuver - Offensive and defensive, only against a single opponent.
