Edges and Beastmasters

I've loved Savage Worlds and Earthdawn for some time now, so I 'm happy its now an official product.

I do have a concern however based on my initial read through (and please feel free to point out my ignorance if I have missed something), but under the Beastmaster Discipline Edge it requires both the Beast Bond and Beast Master Edge (one of which also requires a Spirit of d8+, which would be very difficult for a Human with a Free Edge to get at character creation let alone a non-human who starts with no free edges.

Have I missed out on something obvious other then houseruling or giving the players a few Advancements out of the gate (something I am not opposed to, to be fair).

Remove Beast Bond from the Requirements: It's not supposed to be there.
