Re: Movement and attack sequence

Splitting Movement does allow you to Move/Attack/Move, so yes, if you're the faster character and your opponent keeps using their full movement to get in melee range of you, you could declare your first movement to be 0, attack, then move away and force them to keep chasing you endlessly, so long as...

Re: Danger Sense Mechainics

I agree with Kasbak except 5. 5. To resolve this situation, I would first give the players the option to use Danger Sense (it does specifically say may , so they aren't required to use it if they choose not to), the triggering event for this being that they are coming into the trap's range. For any...

Re: Danger Sense Mechainics

First, to copy the whole descriptive text: The adept develops a supernatural awareness of danger, allowing him to react more quickly in hazardous situations. This talent may be used when the adept might be Surprised, or when he is trying to avoid a trap or other danger. He makes a Danger Sense test ...

Re: Obsidimen and sex

Windlings and T'skrang actually bring up similar questions. Kasbak? Any cute comments on those lines? <grin> "Chasing tail", I bet...hmm. Anyway. Actually since you mention it, I did play a Windling Weaponsmith in one game that took it upon himself to play the role of wingman to the group...

Re: Obsidimen and sex

I think this would depend on how you use flirting and such in your game. The way I run things, they will improve one's attitude and make the user seem more aesthetically appeasing, but the final decision on whether or not it goes anywhere is still up to the individual, so the statistical difference ...

Re: Obsidimen and sex

Everyone's got to get their rocks off at some point. (I'm sorry, I HAD to on this one. And don't worry, my fiancee will have already hit me for it.) But in all seriousness, I think it would depend on the individual Obsidimen as to whether or not they would want to use those Talents/skills. It's been...

Re: About Blood pebbles and Living crystal armor

I wouldn't say that none of these are issues, but I don't think the ones that are are quite as clunky as you may think. 1. Armor Stacking. This same argument could be made for any two types of armor where you can wear one over the other, so it's not unique to blood pebble. The simple and direct answ...

Re: About Blood pebbles and Living crystal armor

Finally getting a chance to catch back up on the forums, and just to add to what has already been said on blood pebble armor not equating to being a blood charm: Just because two things share a similar interface and use the same power source, it does not make them the same or even have compatible kn...

Re: About Blood pebbles and Living crystal armor

Just remove the blood pebble, forge it up, then reinstall. You wouldn't wear a suit of full plate while it's being reforged, so why wouldn't you do the same with blood pebble? Granted, the removal and reinstall will cost time and effort, but that's part of the cost of using that type of armor.

Re: About Blood pebbles and Living crystal armor

To the original question, I would say yes. Weaponsmiths can forge Thread weapons IIRC, so I see no reason why they wouldn't be able to work with other types of magic within their area of expertise. I know personally that when you're a craftsman, you learn to work with a lot of different mediums, so ...
