Re: Bharata Zho Veda (eskatonic martial art)
Interesting. I really enjoy thinking of more martial arts and what they might be like in the future. My only suggestion would be to make something more unique for Open the Mind's Eye rather than replicating an earlier power but with a longer duration.

Re: Fading Suns Player's Guide (Revised Edition)
Hi James, a question and/or some more errata (sorry if these have already been spotted). The Ur-Obun Tour of Duty Extra stages states that Ur-Obun "gain no skills from the Savant Psi or Adept Thurge option", however those tours don't give skills anyway. Is this meant to be Natal Psi and N...

Re: Fading Suns Player's Guide (Revised Edition)
That sounds about right to me. I'm not sure I like it though. It seems like a really cheap way to remove shields from the game and with how expensive they are (shields), their limited field of coverage (5/10), they don't stack with any real armor unless you buy the really expensive shields, and the...

Re: Fading Suns Player's Guide (Revised Edition)
Fading Suns player's guide errata From 2nd editiom Speak skill has become the player's guide Language benefit? But what about Read skill? Missing from the benefits section or incorporated into Language, so every player character can speak and read, now (the box at page 115 let suppose so)? In this ...

Thanks, I will take a look at them and see if we can make it better, or at least logical.

Re: Alternate crit/fumble rules
Wow. Such a simple thing. I LOVE it. :) New uses for Wyrd are always a good thing. Up against the original deadline we really wanted to add a lot more things but we didn't have enough time for testing. I really like all of these ideas, let me know if you get a chance to try them in game and how they...

Re: My Fading Suns Revised game
I posted in the other thread but I am with Angelman! It is great you are enjoying it. I need to crack myself and my player's with the game whip again and get things going. Work schedules have thrown my campaign off the tracks.

Re: Guild Skills
My belief is still that pure operator skills can be taught more openly. Think Machine, Pilot, Mech/Volt Redemption... Those are all skills that let you do gruntwork and qualified labour. A non-guild technician is usually trained in one of these at a low level. As previously argued, the KW isn't jus...
