True. I was just going with the letter of the rite. As a GM I would say it's good if used within reason.

Cast the rite before a raid for example. I would allow that.

The INSTANT means that the ritual is done at that moment.

However the text says their "Next" attack roll of that skill. So you could cast it.... go eat lunch... get your dry cleaning... then shoot someone. The ritual power is released and the bonus conferred.

I might try to include this into my FS Savage Worlds game. Not sure how it would meld though. I just skimmed the material and didn't do a deep dive being at work and all.

In my old group the GM new Latin (Roman Archeologist) and the person who played the priest knew latin. (Medical field / history person) The priest would spout off latin and such... it added a bit of flair I do say.

One thing that happened in our game were that the Questing Knights were seen as celebrities. They even had trading cards with stats.. Famous quests, duels won.. ect ect. Most costs were picked up by hosts. It was seen as advantageous to be seen hosting an Imperial and his cohort. Like a status symbo...
