Re: Ceremony to become Questing Knight
I don't see the Emperor initiating every new Questing Knight. He probably did, once upon a time, but as recruits flock to his order from all the 40 or so inhabited planets of the Known Worlds now that there is peace in the realm, rather imagine he no longer have the time to oversee it himself. Proba...

Re: Ceremony to become Questing Knight
To my knowledge, there is no official information on this, but seeing as loads of scions from every Royal and Minor House are reqruited into the Questing Knights, the process can't be too complicated. My own view is that officer/veteran Questing Knights can "deputize" suitable knights woul...

Re: Criticorum Discord NOW!
I particularly like the setting material, my current campaign is based just outside Acheon, I look forward to using this sourcebook, probably in every session. I'm curious to learn what you think of the material now that you (hopefully) have had some time digesting the setting material? The city ar...

Re: "Cold War" campaign idea
I've had a campaign in the makings for a decade - have tried to write it three times - which resolves around a a Hazat commander running off into Barbarian space with a Vera Cruz flotilla to hunt for a lost world. His plan is to spark an interstellar crisis that will reignite the Emperor Wars in his...

Re: Errata? Communication skill?
It is an idea, but we're busy getting back on schedule with NA3 and the various future FSR releases. Any time spent working on updating the PG again is time not spent working on the next publication.

Re: Occult powers question
Yes, you get everything the entry says, wether it is skill or rite. The exception is the Adept, who gets 1xLvl4 rite, 1xLvl5 rite, and EITHER 1xLvl1 + 1xLvl2 rites, OR 1xLvl3 rite.
In other words, the occult LifePath choices follows the same logic as the other LifePath choices.

Re: And he brooded from the parapet of his waste treatment p
Yeah, its a concept most befitting guilders and al-Malik worlds (particularly Criticorum). And to play my own Devil's Advocat, although 2nd Rep buildings might be totally awesome, they probably also requires high tech maintenance. High tech things cause high tech problems, and all that. in any case,...

Re: And he brooded from the parapet of his waste treatment p
You could also go the opposite direction; since people have probably invented non-fading paints and very resilient/self-healing buildings (drawing carbon straight out of the air for instance) by the TL8 heights of the Second Repulbic, you might end up with a sparking new look to the millennium old b...

Re: And he brooded from the parapet of his waste treatment p
I don't think anyone can answer this for you as it is largely about your taste on the matter. That said, I think it is a good idea to underline the setting by focus your descriptions this way. That said, personaly my philosophy is always that unless the point is to keep the players in the dark, then...
