Re: Faster Combat
I had an additional Idea, but its untested right now: give each player a initative dice, in different colors, for each player one color. At the beginning of the round, you roll Initiative for all at once with a shaker, then you sort the initative rolls from top to down, lay it near the middle of the...

Re: Earthdawn Monster Toolkit
Hi Emektos, i double checked the application vs the rulebook, besides the movement (which you could standarize anyway ) the the app is still usable.

Re: Faster Combat
Thats also cool options, i will recommend also the multiple dice for attack & damage to my players. I will also try to give them the initative to remember, sounds reasonable. I rewrite currently also a cheat sheet for my players, this minimizes the rule lookup aswell.

Re: Faster Combat
I think, i will add in the Minion´s Rule (1HP Monsters). Also the Step used for Attack may be an option. This are valid tipps. I think i will also do a better combat sheet for my players. When we use "static" initiative, some talents wouldn´t be that effective ? I have a windmaster with ai...

Faster Combat
Hi, do you have any tipps, how to speed up combat ? I have given every player, a combat option print out, a step table. Everyone has Dice on their own. But still, a fight vs 5 creatures with no special powers, takes about 2h with 5 people + 5 NPC. Rolled Initative in 2 groups for the NPC´s already. ...

Re: EDR Planned Products?
What we would like to see is new material, did you thought about funding new sourcebooks with Kickstarter ? This has recently been a successfull way for a lot of RPG publishers. You could hire somone with a given target, and send new impulses ? I would like to have a Landis sourcebook anyway.

Re: Earthdawn Character Editor/Generator
Hi,
i thought i found a bug, or i did not handle it correctly, if i add starting money to a character , it does not substract the cost of items when
i buy from the shop. Is this not the intended behaviour ?

Spells which negate serious threats :
Hi, for me it seems there is a severe design flaw in Earthdawn: There are spells which negate the effects of hunger or thirst i.e. they create water oder food, without any cost, so if i plan to introduce ressource trouble for the population, i would see the argument spwaning with my group of gamers ...
