Re: thread weaving
There's also an optional rule that an adept can't maintain a permanent thread until 4th circle, thus meaning no threaded items for anyone before fourth circle. The Werefrog don't like that rule because Spellcasters are already at a disadvantage without being allowed forged weapons, aggressive attack...

Re: Second Discipline & Double Talents.
Threadweaving isn't so much a Talent as a class of Talents; that's why you relearn Threadweaving for each Discipline. However, in regards to learning the other Talents again, no you do not relearn from Rank 1. You pay it's 2nd discipline cost for Rank 1 as an optional rule. This means some GMs make ...

Anytime you could roll Willpower to resist a magical effect, you can substitute Willforce for the effect test.

Re: selling loot
Your mention of economics student wanting to start economic war against Thera reminds The Werefrog of a game The Werefrog ran. One player was a certified mechanic, and he had his weaponsmith build an internal combustion engine (using true fire instead of gasoline) with the purpose of driving around ...

Re: How Strict Are You?
The Werefrog follow the rules as written. There are times when they can be thrown out, but they are rare. Also, if you have a good GM screen, you don't search for tables. For this reason, The Werefrog almost always follow the rules when GM. The most common breakage of rules is fudge the die roll to ...

Re: selling loot
Knowledge skills would let players know something has monetary value, and it might give a range of how much they are worth, in general. However, the Evaluate Talent would let you know how much those specific items are worth. Think of it this way. You are told PS3 is worth $500. Therefore, you find a...

Re: Severing threads
Yes, but remember, you can't weave a thread to your own pattern item because it's pattern is your pattern.
The Werefrog think this needs to be clarified before the PC tries to think of it. Another party member, though, could weave the necessary threads to your pattern item.

Re: being a non-adept
An adept has a far stronger pattern.
It would be the difference between a 40 watt incandescent bulb and a halogen lamp. However, you would have to analyze the pattern to see the color (determine the discipline)

Re: being a non-adept
Let's not forget, not everyone can be an adept. Some people seek the greatness, but they are unable to become adepts. They may not become the best, but they can become pretty great in their own right.
