Hiyas!
A quick question: does the word "Throal" have any meaning or is it someone's Name or last Name?
Thanks!

Re: The Afterlife
"Hell hound is a critter that came from Shadowrun. So that's where the name came from."
& it's from the 1st Edition! This I already knew. I wanted to find out the "in game" Earthdawn explanation for the epithet...
Thanks for the input!

Re: The Afterlife
Hi:
Also, there's a curiosly named critter, a hell hound. If barsaivians don't really recognise "hell" (at least, like we do) why the name?

...The best part of valour...
HI:
This seems like a lame cop-out but in ED not all encounters are "winnable" or "scaled" (unlike in other systems). Sometime's a Namegiver's gotta run away!

Hiyas!
From what I've read there's no "official" explanation or details - whatever the GM comes up with oughta be fine.

The Afterlife
Hiyas Been reading them books - most of them "core E3" ones, but found precious little about beliefs in the Afterlife in Barsaive/Thera, except that Death's supposed to be buried, there are "other worlds" in Astral Space & you can summon Namegivers. I was wondering if someone...

Re: Clear as blood
Yup, the setting implies that anyone can use Blood (Life/Death) Magic. This includes Blood Charms (they fill the same "genre slot" as Shadow-run's cyber-tech wetware). Just what I was grasping when reading! You sir, have crystalised (pun) my thoughts eloquently. :cheerleader: Them FASAguy...
