Re: Of Bastards and Exiles
The Caravan Route: The Caravan Route has been in place for five centuries. It takes a route straight south crossing the equatorial deserts before traveling along Lake Lagos on to All Saints. Arranging transport for the first section of your trip is quite simple; a handful of convoy agents maintain ...

Re: Of Bastards and Exiles
The Routes: Two main routes exist to All Saints, the Caravan Route and the Pampana Route. Both are grueling journey’s to be taken with careful preparation. The Caravan route is longer and in many ways a tougher route; while the Pampana route is shorter if more expensive. Many take a mixture of the ...

Re: The Justinian Electoral sceptres
I always thought that chasing rumors of a lost voting rod would be fun. However I have never been able to come up with a really good credible storyline that would hook the characters for long enough to make it a believable long campaign search. It also comes with rougher implications on where your c...

Re: Sample Fiefs Thread?
Holtz; I'd happily submit the rest of "The Way to Urzenkai" started in the "Of Bastards and Exiles " thread as a submission to your publication if you think it would fit. Currently about 12 pages should end up at an even 15 (See my hint that I shouldn't be recruited for editing. ...

Re: Of Bastards and Exiles
The Way to Urzenkai Urzenkai is the name it calls itself but it is known by many names; the Guardian of San Paulo; the Anunnaki of Nowhere; the Gargoyle of the Wastes; The Wisperer; The Screamer of the Wastes….. These names describe the eternal being I met in the great wastes. The pilgrimages gruel...

Re: Using Iver
I never liked Iver as a venue much. Didn't seem very Fading Sun's I'sh. However, it can be a great source of enemies. Chauki, Incarnates, Republican's; are all enemy fodder that could have broken the blockade. Why make the effort to break the blockade if one of these groups has already done it for y...

Re: Sample Fiefs Thread?
Ok; to long since my (or anyone on this threads) last post. Here is are/is my interpretation of House Bourbon. I've reread parts of "Moon is a Harsh Mistress" and other codex'ies of popular lore to put this together.... But I feel it needs something. I put this together a year ago; it's no...

Re: Cadre Concepts?
Personally I don't really see the need to have characters spend points to purchase fief's or ships. If you want to throw the characters into a long campaign in a fief; have it awarded to them. Make the fief suitably unstable, poor, and make sure the characters understand their liege is just as likel...

Stellar Bestiary
I regularly have been mentioning unknown creatures in the sample fiefs thread that are vague concepts in my mind. I never thought to write up stats for them until I need them in game play. I usually find myself having to so so on the spot, with vague notes and insufficient time. I thought it would b...
