Re: Firing Into Melee
Idaknow, it makes sense to me that a low roll would miss everything. The narrative for a bow shot with a roll of 4 is that the missile arcs wildly off into the distance. I do agree that the window is pretty narrow, especially with a big bad muscle guy fighting your friendly neighborhood swordmaster...

Re: water, air interface
Now I'm wondering who really is the target of AoE spells. The targets, or the area.
Also, casting Stone Rain into an empty spot should have a difficulty of 2, not 6. Inanimate objects have an MD of 2, according to the spellcasting sequence rules.

Re: Stealthy Stride & Attacks
Oddly, Stealthy Stride is not a default skill, nor is there an alternate skill for 'hiding one's self.' I'd honestly say this should be one of the first house rules any group adopts - anyone can try to hide themselves, and the skill version of Stealthy Stride is explicitly non-magical (i.e., you ne...

Re: [Ed4] Stealthy Stride talent
I agree with Telarus_KSC's "let it ride" guideline. Force re-rolls whenever situations change (exiting a building, going through a checkpoint, entering a camp, alarm is raised, etc.). They can happen frequently enough to warrant new rolls without worrying if a player is going to ride out a...

Re: Stealthy Stride & Attacks
I would argue that they could still have a chance to stay hidden, giving the enemies a (massive) bonus to perception checks to find them. And they won't be making just one check, either; they'll keep looking. And each progressive attack would pile on more bonuses. Players want to be ninjas attacking...

Re: Stealthy Stride talent
Allow the other archers to make a new perception test, perhaps with a bonus. I'd say the magics of the Talent immediately hide the arrow. If it's a skill use, no such luck, but that isn't really relevant. Stealthy Stride isn't really meant for hiding in the open, anyway, but is for assisting the use...
