Re: New Wrinkles
My point is not about having a roll method for character generation. My *issue* Obsidiman, Troll: d4 , 20 / 10 Dwarf, Elf, T'Skrang: d6 , 25 / 10, 10, 8 Human, Ork: d8 , 40 / 6, 7 Windling: d10 , 60 / 5 You compare this with 3e and you spot that for a Windling to finally get to their original max ka...

Re: New Wrinkles
(I'm assuming you mean "waambulance" in the line there, as it's the only thing that makes sense in context.) Roth, this doesn't put you in a good starting place -- it's dismissive, implying those that don't share your POV on the issue are either whiny and/or hypocritical because they talk...

Re: New Wrinkles
1e,2e Generation of attributes had two different methods purchase or roll(there was no preferred and the other is optional, they gave two and let the individual groups decide), if you do a bit of math you find out that rolling gives better results than the purchase method. On Average. Not always in...

Re: New Wrinkles
There's more to this, but some haven't seemed to care that much about it. Care to explain? I'll probably make some sigh, but whatevs. Confusing fair & balanced. Racial abilities and negatives 1e,2e Generation of attributes had two different methods purchase or roll(there was no preferred and th...

Re: Wait for 4th edition?
Also completely new to the setting. Did you just recommend a book that is totally out of print? As my search of the net shows one made by Redbrick, but I could not find where to get it. If, like the dinosaurs, its not available why mention it? Great if I am wrong, and thanks for the recommendation....

Re: When will Earthdawn 4 be available?
The Line Developer posted on another thread. The PDF for the Player's Guide will be out by year's end (hopefully sooner). If it isn't there will be blood. I will track down the missing art and draw it myself with the blood of slacking artists. It won't be as pretty, but it will make a statement. Pri...
