Re: 3ed Journeyman
How Versatility works is not relevant because a Journeyman has the option of learning his talents from a tutor in the same way that other adepts learn Talent options. This takes the same amount of time and cash as Versatility but crucially is independent of the Circle the tutor learned the Talent o...

Re: 3ed Journeyman
That would certainly be the sensible way to do it. I'm just not sure that's what the rules say. these talents are learned from a trainer in the same way as other adepts learn Talent options or learn a talent via Versatility. Everything after the 'or' in that sentence is optional, hence the 'or', so...

Re: 3ed Journeyman
Out of interest how are you determining that Journeymen don't get access to Durability until 2nd Circle? I could not find any convincing reason in the text to suggest that they can't learn any Talent they want at 1st Circle. Because Journeymen don't just learn Talents all on their own, they have to...

Re: 3ed Journeyman
Journeymen get 6/5 Durability at Second Circle. Then, at 12th Circle, they can choose to upgrade their Durability Talent to 7/6 in lieu of another Characteristic Bonus. This upgrade is retroactive.

Re: My Fading Suns Revised game
I posted in the other thread but I am with Angelman! It is great you are enjoying it. I need to crack myself and my player's with the game whip again and get things going. Work schedules have thrown my campaign off the tracks. :( We have the benefit of everyone having regular schedules, so it's pre...

Re: Alternate crit/fumble rules
By the rules as written, all of my players, whether their characters are occult positive or not, chew through Wyrd for rerolls alone. So I don't really need to implement any additional Wyrd tax in my group. I think they all got used to Unisystem Drama Points, Earthdawn Karma, and Savage World Bennie...

Re: My Fading Suns Revised game
You're welcome, and thank you for taking the time to comment. It's always good when other people like what you're doing. And in case anyone is curious, Lady Koralia is a Favyana Coven psychic, thus why her and Duchess Oelestre Xanthippe are so close. It's a secret to the characters, but not the play...

Re: My Fading Suns Revised game
I have five players in that group, which is pretty ideal for me. 4-6 is kind of my ideal number. Two of them haven't joined OP yet, which is why a few of the PC's are still under my name on there.
