Re: [Ed4] Player's Guide Feedback

That seems counter-intuitive. Is there any place they are gathered together so they can be looked at as a whole?

Re: Converting 3rd Ed Disciplines to 4th Ed

The Cathay book and Namegivers has a bunch of talents not in the core book. Some of thee talents are specific to the Disciplines in those books (Like Regeneration which is a Master Dragon Excellency talent for Monks), others are just generally new talents. I was wondering if you would be converting ...

Re: Converting 3rd Ed Disciplines to 4th Ed

Hey Panda, I just want to say I appreciate all the hard work you are doing converting all these side disciplines to 4th Edition. I like the Monk and the War Rider. I am curious though, do you have any plans on converting the Talents from the other books too?

Re: Converting 3rd Ed Disciplines to 4th Ed

So I've still been thinking about the Beastlord. Doing some cursory research on my original idea of someone who who taps knowledge and experience of their past lives, I've come to realize that I just don't have the system knowledge to make it work, though I still think it's a cool idea. To that end ...

Re: Converting 3rd Ed Disciplines to 4th Ed

I'm not really familiar with Ghost Master Rituals. To be honest I am a fairly new and extremely casual player. How do the GMRs work?

Re: Converting 3rd Ed Disciplines to 4th Ed

How does your DoH receive training? Talents could probably be learned from anyone who has that talent but wouldn't she have to head all the way back to the Tower of Secret to rank up to the next circle of the Discipline? That is, unless you've made some specific provision for her to get training in ...

Re: Converting 3rd Ed Disciplines to 4th Ed

I'm glad to hear that work is being done on both the Monk and the Sword Dancer. I always got the impression that the Sword Dancer was supposed to represent those wandering weapon master martial artist characters so common in Chinese fantasy movies and it will be good to see them made more distinct f...

Re: Converting 3rd Ed Disciplines to 4th Ed

That is awesome Panda. Can I suggest you start with those Disciplines that are less dependent on the setting than others? I'd prefer the Guardians of Cathay, The Scholar, the Daughters of Heaven, and the Samurai are done last. Unless you can figure out a way to make them more generically useful and ...

Re: Converting 3rd Ed Disciplines to 4th Ed

Thank you! That is really awesome. I can use these as a rough comparison for helping me convert the Cathay disciplines to 4th.

Converting 3rd Ed Disciplines to 4th Ed

Has anyone taken a look at what it would take to convert some of the Disciplines from the Namegivers of Barsaive and Cathay books? I wonder how much work the transition would be.
