Re: Adept and economy

My answer will not be very useful, but personnaly i don't care. In my group, we don't talk price and money except it's very high. No micro-management, money is only a macguffin. (i like the profit factor of Rogue Trader :) ). But if i have chosen to micro-manage, i would not treat non-adept like che...

Re: Jerris

Tu as d'autres ressources en français ?

Re: GM's Guide -- Anything you would like to see?

Personnaly, i just ask PC strengh level. If is strong vs the door, i' just said, "ok, tell me how cool you are to torn this door, i will tell you what you see on the other side". No roll. If it seems he isn't strong enaugh vs the big door, roll for damage with the "minimum damage"...

Re: Character Longevity

Well, i have the inverse feeling: it's too long ! When i play once a month, i'm happy and i would be so sorry that my player can't do the really cool stuff of the advance circle. So i prefer areally quick progression, like circle one to 4-5 in a year (10 session). So i've always found the recommande...

Re: [4ed] Character Sheet

Well, implementing talent was a trap in which i've fallen first and i had to persuade myself to abandon it. It wasn't easy to swallow, at first, but the "free aspect as talent" works. PC aren't discipline anymore but they can live as mighty heroes in Barsaive, so what else ? And since i'm ...

Re: [4ed] Character Sheet

Here's mine, but you won't like it, it's Fate-like powered (and in french) I'm interested in how you converted Earthdawn to Fate. I've tried it a little bit, but got stuck and busy (distracted by ED4 coming out). Would you mind sharing your notes? Well, first it's not "Fate only"...

Re: GM's Guide -- Anything you would like to see?

Something I'm thinking for my play, but it's an alien house rule, is to use the solar system key (Shadow of Yesterday, Lady Blackbird) for corruption. ( http://www.crackmonkey.org/~nick/loyhargil/tsoy2/solar_system.html#keys ) For example (its crude, the real key can be better build), a PC whose san...

Re: Pre-art draft feedback

It makes perfect sense from a balance standpoint to me. Archers are your long range specialists, so it makes sense that they do it better than everyone else. Useful in a practical sense, but boring from a story-telling aspect. Well, it's a point of view, the one which was chosen, but I so disagree....
