Re: Spot Armor Flaw
This is one of the issues that crops up when you change how the system works. Spot Armor Flaw in the past 3 editions has been a debuff, now it's a buff The only thing Baravakar can do is quote the rule book. Pointing out to both Josh and Morgan how the game works. It is not Baravakar's fault that Jo...

Re: Spot Armor Flaw
Did you really have to ask? Hope springs eternal. I am amused by the "don't quote the rulebook" reply from one of the people who wrote the rulebook. It's absurd to think that we players should ignore what you wrote and instead listen to your "opinion" on how a talent or rule is ...

Re: Spot Armor Flaw
Spot Armor Flaw does not enhance the damage from Spell Effect tests. It should be fairly clear from context of the discussion what he was referring to, as the question was about the talent affecting spells. There is no need to get pedantic and quote the rulebook. In general, a talent will affect ph...

Re: Developer Blog: Creatures (Revisited)
Cave Crab seems off. PD of 10 versus 8th circle characters? Typical 'attacking stat' will be step 7 'attacking talent' rank is 8, karma is nearly unlimited by that point, your around 18/19 before you start in with magic items, stat increases, group patterns, spells, and so on. Same basic setup for d...

Re: How do you feel about characters with multiple disciplin
Not at all. I disallow multi-disciplining in Earthdawn. Never saw the need for it back in 1&2 editions. With the talent options in 3&4 it's even less needful(imo)

The norm is 3 months from "we sent it to the printers" to "it's in distribution channels"
Granted selling from their own webstore will make that quicker.

Re: [3rd Edition] Archer and Wizard Optimization help
D&D wizards may have slightly more variety to their spell lists than Earthdawn Wizards? That is an understatement... Earthdawn spellcasters versus D&D spellcasters. Earthdawn are more akin to D&D specialist casters, i.e. Transmuter, Evoker, Illusionist, Necromancer, etc. Shamans do not h...
