Re: Kickstarter!
It is possible that some hardcovers will be available as special convention items, otherwise, they were a Kickstarter only item.

Re: Developer's Blog -- A pair of new spell mechanics
As the weakest (IMHO) of the magician disciplines, the Illusionist has long needed some love. Weakest? My Illusionist Windling single-handedly took out an airship with an inventive use of Use Rope. Once the sails fell to the deck, everyone else tossed oil flasks and fire, but I still take all the c...

Re: Developer's Blog -- A pair of new spell mechanics
I have to say I love these new mechanics. The second one puts me in mind of Elementalist spells potentially having different elements. Why just Earth Darts; why not Water Darts? Pick the element at time of casting, based on which is available. Each could work exactly the same, but creatures with di...

Re: Swordmaster Preview!
Okay, my two cents on the whole discipline: Overall, I like it. In some ways, the Swordmasters always felt like the weakest of the Big 3. I don't immediately get that feeling from looking at this write up, but I'd have to see the other two frontline melee disciplines to get a better comparison. This...

Re: Fourth Edition Preview -- A whole lot of talents
Re-posting here, as this was the original discussion thread. You do realize that combat is just as situational in a RPG as anything else is? Earthdawn is one of the very few game systems that actually has 'social' abilities that isn't tied to only a few disciplines. If you have a group of players wh...
