Re: RPG Geek

Magic_Octopus, if you haven't already, why don't you send a PM to Mataxes on this forum? He is the Line Developer for ED, so can authoritatively handle this request/suggestion.

Re: Attribute increase and Trainer

Hiya, In EDC and ED3, there is no specific mention in the rules for training to be had with someone who is of a higher Rank for Skill and Attribute Increases (at least). It's up the GM if he or she wants to enforce any stricter requirements; otherwise, it's just time, money, and LPs. ED4 may have ch...

Re: Fading Suns Library.

Hiya, You can still get the Shards, Scravershold. Though the original individual Shards are available separately, they were updated and compiled into a single book -- the Fading Suns Shards Collection -- still available in PDF and print (POD) from the same link, which happens to be: http://rpg.drive...

Re: Coming back to GM Earthdawn?

Hiya, Barsaive at War was published by Living Room Games in 2000(?), who acquired the license when the original FASA went under. It was widely regarded as a poor book, That is a stretch. You meant, that is an opinion, right? As in "In my opinion, it was widely regarded as a poor book." Or,...

Re: GM's Guide -- Anything you would like to see?

Hiya, Ditto to Etherial's post, above. You could do this with EDC and ED3 as well -- from the PDFs, naturally -- and the PDFs were all searchable. In fact, the EDC PDFs were all hyperlinked internally as well (a majorly time-consuming task when they were produced, akin to being a Horror's plaything ...

Re: Karma In the Fourth Edition

Hiya, Just a quick note. In ED3 (and earlier), an Excellent -- not Extraordinary -- success is an Armor-Defeating Hit. I'm assuming that's what you meant, but just in case you've been playing things with Extraordinary successes... :) For sure, there are situations and items in ED3 (and earlier) that...

Re: Thread Item - Blinding Stones

Hiya, I can't speak to ED4 as I have no involvement with that product, but this item was revised in EDC (in the Earthdawn Adventure Compendium; New Magical Treasures chapter) to remove the "use it once and done" component. Most of the magical treasures in the published ED1 adventures were ...
